The power and torque is nice! Definetly doesn't feel like a domestic v8 though. Power band is smooth and responsive / fast reving. More similar to a vq35de if i had to compare it to something. Just snappier from down low and v8 sounds lol Swap also didn't cost to much. Motors are still fairly cheap ( under $500) Cost really all depends on what trans you plan on doing.

Thanks for the kind words! Radiator is an sr20 for what ever chassis you have and rad hoses are ls400 just trimmed down a little. Power delivery is some what instant! At low speeds and in a lower gear if I slam the gas peddle it will light them up but it definitely has more mid-high end power than instant crazy down low tourqe like an LS1 or other large displacement v8's.

I'd also like to know how the 6 speed stacks up on the 1uz. And can you post pics of the shiter placement? I'm in the middle of this swap myself, but in an fc. Glad to see other folks seeing the potential of the 1uz!!!

google it bro i have 4 wires spliced in from my ecu to my chassis harness but I have a painless chassis harness with like 10 wires in my whole car. Wiring was super simple on it.

with the painless chassis harness do you still have everything operation like to be able to drive it in the streets. lights blinkers windshield wipers brakes and whatnot? I'm thinking of simplifying my car..

Depends on how you wire the chassis harness. You can keep all those options you mentioned if you wire them in. lol

Thanks OBEE! next event we are at you are more than welcome to take her for a spin! @ OLDSCHOOLRICER Part# for ARP 4age flywheel bolts = 203-2802 As for the SR/KA bellhousing being machined I dont think it is needed but you may want to double check that.
