Hey guys, semi new here. I picked up a 95 240 with a blown motor auto trans. it was completely stock. I swapped in another ka24de, runs great. Just that 1st gears shifts a little too hard. Is there anything i can do? or do i need to get it rebuilt, im really hoping not to spend tons of money.

shifts hard from PARK to FIRST? or First to SECOND?

sorry, yea from 1st to 2nd but the other gears shifts smoothly

Index of /FSM/240sx/1995 > AT.PDF > and start reading. it's odd it only does it 1-2 shift. have you checked your fluid on the car?

yup brand new fluid after the swap. i'll try to go through the service manual again. i just wonder if parts in the trans will be wearing down faster then normal.
