hello everyone. my case is kinda different than the ones ive been reading around here.

i have an s14 blacktop engine, cleaned s15 injectors and powerfc , z32 maf, walbro pump.

the car is tuned by me, i've set everything properly, tps, ignition advance, clean IACV... only thing i don't have, is a BOV, cause i didnt have time to convert my sard r2d2 to recirculating yet.

the car is hard to start when cold, starts kinda hard and doesnt have warm up idle ( high revs)...also tends to bog down when stopping or changing gears, i know the BOV is to fault for that.

does anyone know why it's hard to start? i messed about with the cranking values but there was no significant change.

Not a pro but I'd say double check your connections and your tune cause something is off
It could be as simple as the IACV plug is just loose cause i doubt your BOV is the cause

i'll check... one thing i haven't done is do the idle-learning procedure on the fc, cause frankly, i don't think it does anything... i 've tuned dozens of fc's on other cars, and it never made a difference... i'll try it though, there's nothing to lose but a lotta gas...

On my 25 it makes a difference so you might want to look in on that...
