well to start off the day it was overcast and drizelin
we got there and the anouncer was saying that they were only going to race 1/8 mile so they could keep up with the track i meet dannhctc there as he was looking around down in the car show and there was about 100 in the show a good turn out compaired to last year and there was about 300 cars racing i was very suprized anyway they ended up doing the 1/4 some nice times for all but i saw a couple of hondas pull 20.0 sec. HAHAHA!!! saw a couple 240's on the track puling low 16's mostly s13 there was one s14 runing too i saw drifterx get his first run in at 15.11 very respectible time didnt get to see much more i was in the show all day and man i saw the judges pick my car apart i had 2 300zx's and a nasty sentra with a sick paint job up agenst me i would of had 3rd but there was no 3rd place trophie ohhh well??!!! two of my friends with their cougers side by side got 1st and 2nd they r g/f & b/f and she has more trophies than him she took 1st on the way home i droped a cylinder for about 3 miles than it kicked back in. Im getting sick with this thang the macinic is going to shit when he sees it on monday he is going to hate me cause i rushed him to get it fix so i could have it friday for todays show well all in all it was fun (Edited by my240likenoother at 1:10 am on Oct. 14, 2001) |

i ran a 16.11 =(
but the track was really wet... i felt wheel slip in every shift..... i didnt look dumb... i was somewhere in the middle.... atleast i know i am quicker than most civics and integras i would have ran like 15s if the track was dry.... my friend with a GSR with a greddy turbo running 8psi ran a 15 flat......... |

yeah i had fun....
i only have SOHC with exhuast, intake, magnacor wires with bosche +4, OBX shortshifter, front+rear tower bars, and AGX shocks with sprint springs.... there was a SR20DET from RI and he ran a 14.89 and another SOHC with stripped interior (only driver seat) who ran 15.87 |
