Utterly Stumped RB25 Running on 5 Cyl!

I feel as tho I have tried everything, so figured I would turn to the Zilvianites!

Backstory:

RB25DET in S14 Kouki. Cylinder #6 appears to not be firing. (If I pull the Coil pack or Injector clips Engine RPM etc does not change).

I have Tried: 2 ECU's, it has a brand new Wiring Specialties Harness, 2 CAS, 2 Ignitors. Ive checked for spark and its good, Compression is good all across the Board, Ive checked for Fuel its good. No noises from engine seems to run good otherwise minus sounding cammed and a slight loss in power.

The Plug that I pulled from Cylinder 6 does appear to be a little darker likes its not getting a good burn. Which I did swap to another Cylinder which is working fine.

Please help! Anything else I could be missing?

How exactly did you check for fuel? Did you pull the fuel rail and visually verify fuel squirting/pulsing from the #6 injector? Also, have you tried swapping the #6 coilpack with a different cylinder coilpack yet?

I put power to the injector with a battery and pulled the plug and then cranked the car. Trust me... Plenty of fuel once the valve opens. Haha.

Yes I have tried swapping other coil packs and also packs from my RB20.

Any other ideas?

But if you crank the engine without hot-wiring the injector, does #6 spark plug get wet with fuel? Hot-wiring the injector will verify the injector opens, but there is still a possibility of the injector not actually receiving the signal from the ECU. I know Wiring Specialties harnesses are well built (I have one) but things can get torn or improperly connected during your harness installation.

Hmmm. While the vehicle is running I placed my hand on each injector and they all "feel" to the touch like they are working. But I don't think I pulled the plug while the harness was hooked up. I'll try that tomorrow after work.

I also need to see if there are any codes on the Ecu. It does not have a screw like my RB20. Anyone know how to read the codes by getting the check engine light to blink?

Fixed it!

Thanks for all the help guys! This thing is a BEAST now!

One if the pins had pushed out of the injector harness where it connects to the main harness.
