New pics, Slammed beyond belief.
just took new pics. Lowered the fronts another inch, they're sitting at 575mm now. (top of front fender arch to ground.) Go measure it on your car to get an idea of how low it is. haha front lip is 3 of my skinny ass fingers off the ground.
Damn I love it!

... thats cool.. if your parked or MAYBE at the track. daily driving is gonna be a BITCH though. hell im on stock suspention and sometimes i scrape my exhuast when driving in san frisco. (stupid driveways...) i'd hate to see what i would do to my lip/exhaust if i was THAT low. not to mention my fenders and the wiring underneath them. car looks mean standing still though man.

Daniel: got the GR6's from Jerry. The rear wheels are borrowed from a friend. If you check my other thread, it has some other pics of them. I started this thread tho cause the other one was getting random and it was on it's second page.
I'm gonna leave it this low for now. Front lip scrapes everywhere, but nothing else. It's going to the track like this tho. I'll get action shots soon.

WOW that is extremely low. i love it. so how much lower can the gr6's go compared to the HE's?? I have the HE's on my car right now, and I have them at about 90% maxed out lowness...and I still want some more.

gr6's go about 2" lower in the front without any preload and without any preload the rears go about 3 1/2" lower than the HE's. Everything is better about the GR6's.

Quick review of the GR6's:
9/7 springrates with 6 levels of dampening adjustability. Messed around with the dampening a bit, very precise and crisper than the HE's. HE's were sloppy from start to finish, where as these are much better build quality from what I can see/feel. I've got them on full soft for the street, but full stiff is ridiculous. More than enough for me for any track setting. Spring preload and height adjustability are independent. However, on both the front and rear, the height adjustability runs out when it hits the lower spring perch collar. Therefore, more preload will allow you to go even lower. With my car in the pics above, I still have another 1 1/2" of height adjustability in the front and about 2" in the rear. Basically, they go low enough for ANYONE's needs. Frame rails would literally be 1" off the ground fully slammed. Hell, if I slammed the fronts all the way, my front lip would be sitting ON the ground. Literally. Ride quality is great, stiffer than the HE's obviously, but not too much. Ride quality is nicer than the HE's tho, dispite the stiffer springrates. Even my G/F agrees. If I had it all to do over again, I wouldn't have thought twice about getting the HE's. GR6's all the way. Well worht the extra few hundered $$. Don't get me wrong, the HE's served me great, and are a good entry coilover, but the GR6's pick up the slack in all the areas the HE's fall short. Front turn signals were relocated to the corner lights. A little dremel work, epoxy and bam! More air cooling for brakes and tires. Turn signal wires are long enough too, no need to lengthen.

Scott. I know you like the way it looks but I have just one question for you.
Can you fit your toes underneath the bumper? I sure looks like you can to me, so therefor it's not low enough. =).

haha John have you been talking to that little devil on my right shoulder? You guys are saying the same thing.... haha but It's low enough for me. Once I get my other FN's on the rears, it'll stop rubbing and I can thrash it and see if it needs to go up or down. As it settles, it keeps getting lower, I stopped by Speed Alliance today after work and I couldn't fit my shoe under my front lip. It's ridiculous. As long as I can still drive the shit out of my car at this height I'll leave it. If I have to drive like a pussy everywhere, I'll raise it up a tad.
