That's neat, but I wish it was a better motor. Not really a huge power difference as of yet.

It's amazing how many people hate on the ka. That hatch looks like its getting pretty rad in that still photo to me. Who cares if there's "better options."

Someone did this not too long ago with an eg as well. They swapped front and rear subframes but then drop the s2k motor. Pretty dope idea those cars are fuckin gokarts so it prolly scoots around pretty decent. And who knows maybe it's built? It'd b pretty stupid to go to the trouble and not do something to the motor...

Maybe because an s2k motor is expensive as hell?? An F20c setup would easily cost 10x more than an average KA.. There is a good chance he even got the KA for free.. |

I love how everyone acts like the ka is a torque monster. It's not a v8, it's a 4 banger. hearing that shit gets old.
Also, IXFXI, I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic, but if not I agree about the intake. For some reason it looks right at home in there.

Also, if he/she decides to boost it, the torque numbers will be in a realm that most honda's only dream about. |

Same can be said for typical bandwagon s-chassis fan bois as well.
Sweet conversion though. I was expecting a fwd ka24de swap, not a rwd ka24de.

Better yet, since KA and SRs are interchangeble, he can always swap one in. Most of the hardwork/fabrication is already done. Wonder what rear end they ended up using? Last time I've seen somebody do this, they used a CRV rear end.
