What speeds Can be hit?
These tracks need to be at least 3rd gear initiation/sweeper stuff.

No, people expect professionalism out of event host.
maybe you havent been around enough to see how many "new drift track" threads come through. Think that last one was some 100mph entry track proposed by "driftgiirl" or something. (not the famous chewbacca driftgirl from seattle) Quote:

Im not gonna reply till I know waht kind of track it is, the layouts, the ground, the price. If its 3rd gear/50mph entry, i would be interested. What did your insurence say about tandem? |

its a 1/6 mile oval so its smaller than the NOS speedway.

ok not to be rude but in order for me to put this in motion i need opinions so keep all of your negative comments to your self. Ok no to get down to business the track looks alot smaller in the pic then it really is and the majority pf the k rails will be pushed out some to make it a little bigger. The layout is of course an oval and youe see in the pic but there is plenty of room in the middle for more tech. things. You all probably know udie and he was going through the track at about 70mph killing it tonight so its up there the insurance part is taken care and we are free to proceed with this. So with that said we wanna do something on friday and saturday so friday starting at six till you all leave and sat starting at ten till you all leave. Now its gonna be $15 an hour for drivers and $5 to watch/ride along. so my number is 909-763-0910 give me a call and come on through or just show up (sounds like most of you know where its at already). oh yea i had a total of 10 cars on the track and all approved of the layout and had a blast.

The more tracks the better. If this is legit I would for sure come. LMK if you need any testers. I can think of a couple layouts as well.

I really dont know what your saying. And I am all for learning your car. But at the same time I have been staffing events for 3 years now. And I also know alot. There is a maximum number of tracks and events in the LA area. If we get to many tracks, there are not enough drivers for all of them. And pretty soon several event holders will be gone, and with them, thier tracks. So when you want to "add" a track for the drift community, you need to think of your intentions and if its a good idea. Not trying to be negative, just letting you in on some bussiness. Last year there was so many event holders and events at balconey that no one could fill spots. Now, you dont hear much from alot of those event holders cause they lost so much money they went under. As far as the track, it looks small as shit. But still looks like alot of fun. Especially for low HP cars like mine. Might be a walk in the park for SR guys, but great for KA. What are the rules on Tandem?? Friday and Saturday the 6th and 7th?? $15 an hour? (wow, putting Adams out of bussiness??) are you just running an oval layout? bathrooms and vending machines?? I might make it one of these days, looks like fun for my SOHC BTW, nice work getting all figured out and the ins. (most of these threads are pipe dreams) |
