Fuel Pump Question
how long can you run a walbro 255 on the stock fpr before the fpr gets blown? This is a stock 1990 nissan 240sx by the way. Right now my fuel pump is going bad, so I assume, since I replaced the filter already and I can't see anything else wrong anywhere else but I have really low fuel pressure and I don't want to drive it til I swap pumps. I got this pump in the mail on a fuel pump bracket I got and was hoping it would work for a while but it blew already. I'm getting an aeromotive fpr from frsport tomorrow but I have to wait 2 weeks for the fittings to come in since I can't fine a barbed fitting for the bottom in stock anywhere. It's not boosted yet so I'm not worried about anything else just trying to get it drivable for a couple weeks while I wait for the fittings. Or is the walbro blowing the stock fpr a myth?

You'll be fine. Lots of people keep the stock fpr with a walbro. Also, earls fittings has what you're looking for in stock. That's where I got mine, luckily for me they are only a 30 minute drive from my house.

Ok well I'm swapping it in tomorrow and hopefully it fixes my low fuel pressure problem. I'll keep you all informed via this post. Then I'll do a quick write up of the aeromotive install so people don't have to ask all the time LoL.
