I did it because the PO hacked the whole chassis harness up. You really need to get familiar with the chassis harness and figure out what you need and don't need. You'll need your time control unit if you want to retain thinks like timed defroster, intermittent wipers and such.

I dont need any of that, this car isnt going be a daily. The only things I realistically need are the power windows headlights tail lights engine pump fan ignition etc. I dont even need the gauge cluster wires since im running a racepak which directly plugs into the ecu. Which is why I figured making my own would probably be less of a headache than trying to delete everything out of the old crusty wiring harness anyways
