It is an Exceed, that is rental level stuff right there, that and since it is pretty much the only product in that size there is no aftermarket for them. What you buy is what you get.

True, my Sprint 2 has a few one off things done to it but its not stuff like scratch built hubs or aluminum arms, diffs, etc. If you want 1/8 scale drifting you are probably better off buying one of the 1/8 scale rally cars and converting it.
I just went to invisible body mounts and was getting tired of the velcro not holding the body on so I bought some of the scotch heavy duty dual lock velcro with the mushroom shaped hooks. Stuff was a very bad idea at first because it would not release the body without a crazy amount of force. If anyone decides to try it I suggest you stick the two pieces together a few times before mounting them to the body/car to loosen them up.

I rock a yokomo DIB!! I need a new body though I'll post some pics when I get home. Anybody ever check out banzaihobbies.com?? They sell stuff like straight outta japan or hong kong, but they charge like 60 bucks to ship stuff. It's a pain in the butt

This stuff is not going to come off without a really good bump, and it would need to be in the upward direction. I lost steering the other day(range issue) and smacked flat out into a pillar and the body stayed on.
This is the stuff. Also I learned earlier that the 1/8 drifter can be converted to a SCT and may handle better than other SCTs.

Looking at all the mad drift videos, the drift suspension is all over the place and some even rub with that monster wheel gap that can fit a whole 1/18 rc in there lol...way to loose, but i know its because sct suspension.
Shit is gonna be hard to fit/find decent bodies :0/ But o was able to find one that hit 65mph :0)

^^ That post is about two years old. Hope he has it figured out by now.
Got my car upgraded as much as I care to spend. Now its just all about setup and only going to spend money on bodies. Gotta get back to spending money on 1:1 pits.

This is a pretty sweet thread. Everyone's got some pretty neat toys! I'm into the RC scene myself. I started out on Nitro but I recently became a fan of electric. I do like them both, but the insta-torque of the electric is mega addicting!
Here's what I got myself last year for Christmas. It's a 1/10 Kyosho EP Fazer Rally. I never drove it on the stock brushed system. Instead, I bought a Castle system at the same time I bought the car. I also bought a aluminum drive shaft right away as the stock plastic one likes to warp from the torque of a brushless motor on LiPos lol. I recently decided to change some things up. I hope to have it finished today, if not tomorrow. It's a HPI 2007 PROVA Impreza STi body.
