Turbo no tune question.
So here it is, my T25 seized when I got m SR so I found a Apexi B70 for cheap and picked it up. It has a internal wastegate and I'm not sure what the wastegate is set at. So is it safe to drive with the wastegate connected or should I disconnect the actuator and wait until I save enough for the PFC and a tune? That is all.
To sum it up, is it okay to DD it as normal T25 or should I disconnect the wastegate as said and just drive around like that until a tune? Thanks for anyhelp/advice in advance. |

haha i dont know why you dont just ask me these questions
I recommend disconnecting the W/G so it will basically run no boost until your ready to get a tune.

No thanks, I have a perfectly fine turbo now. I think I'll just disconnect the actuator and I'll be fine. I only drive to and from work and maybe run errands around town.
Thanks for the offer tho, I can have my T25 rebuilt for 100 bucks tho. |
