That wasn't the worst part. There were earlier videos when a few guys were following them, they've taken the shot when it seemed like you could still come up to the wreak before the whole vehicle engulfed in flames. It was the first clip after seeing the news online, I'll see if I can link it here.

Anyway, I will leave this quote here:

I saw the vid you are talking about wish they would have just ran up and grabbed them two before the fire. in the video you can hear what sounds like an explosion.

All in all i loved the Fast and Furious movies. The first one especially. I remember i was 12 years old would watch the movie everyday after school. Fell in love with cars and the characters of the movies. Ive always read about him and watched interviews and you could just tell he was an awesome good guy that loved cars just as we all do.

RIP Paul Walker
May speed always be with you on the other side.

The Supercar Kids ? What Caused the Carrera GT to Explode?

Explanation of what most likely happened from people who were there.

Hmmm... Over-correction into snap oversteer. Big learning curve when driving MR cars. If Stig had problems with this car, that a sure fire sign you need to slow your ass down.

I remember a few years back, flipping channels on tv, i came accross poeple tagging and taking down specs on great white sharks off the waters by catalina island. Paul was right there in the mix! I was like "hey thats the guy from f&f" im guessing that was one of many hobbies.

Power steering fluid is said to be the cause. I mean I do find it a bit weird that the front end catched fired so quickly when we all know it's an MR vehicle.

Such shame Porsche. "Still a busta" RIP :/

Well the gas tank is under the passenger compartment in the front....so it would explain why the front was on fire. RIP PW.

I have seen an accident almost exactly like this; it happened a mere 20 feet from me and I was able to get the driver out before he died. 60% 3rd degree burns. He was not speeding at the time of the accident.

Fortunately I was able to save his life, but I was unable to save the passenger.

An impact directly to a susceptible area of a gas tank or splitting pressurized gas lines can turn a car into an instant fireball. It's not a pretty site, and the resultant fire can be incredibly hot.

Seen this also, on shark week. I've seen him in Japan at the Mines factory also. This guy was just in everything so much more then we know. Wish I had the chance to meet him. Cause if I would have saw a post on his instgram about being there for the fun raiser I would have went. Not too bad of a drive

I've been taking this pretty hard. I have to admit I cried a few times.

Anyway, from every single site writing about him they all say positive things. Even the Conspiracy theory pages on facebook even show sympathy when they normally talk shit on celebrities.

I agree that he lived a life most people dream about and that he would have been a cool person to know/ be friends with.

I will leave you guys with this. If you don't want to watch the whole 9 minutes, just watch from 9:10 to the end.

was reading someone's comment, saying that for the movies, they should just have Brian and Mia leave the cast with their child to live happily ever after.. Send them off in some good way. That would be good.

Maybe introduce the tokyo drift guy to the team, say he is Brian's cousin. Han praised him for his skill before he died or something.
