1st: Forrest Wang
2nd: Danny Chen (driftingpanda)
3rd: Mattycakes! SD !!
4th: me, dousan Aaron Suarez

mickie was#1 qualifier one first cut
flybert choked in top 16

some really cool swedish racer was there, he did great, 2nd event drifting his stock z33

team tandem:
1st: Team Facial
2nd: Young, Dumb, Full of CUm (i think thats it) aka: Team San DIego
3rd: i dont remember their name, but it was 2 sd dudes, Jeff and Dan, and RMJ driver, Jason!

prize money was good
forrest got like 500 or 600 bucks in gift certificates to various businesses
2nd was like 400 bucks
3rd was like 200 i think

and winner got 595Rs tires!

thanks to Dai Inada for guest judge!
and of course, Hiro Sumida and Henry Shelley (WRongWayFC) for their judging!!!!!

Jawesome event! I got my ass kicked ALL DAY and got super lucky during competition. Totally not deserved. But I had a ton of fun! Running tandem with Forrest, however, was more scary than fun.

BIG thanks to CityTire for coming out. Super convenient, didn't even need to bring spare wheels! I wish you guys are there every event!

Team tandem comp was FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC. You guys are getting way too crazy.

I took a ridiculously huge amount of pictures, 2500+... Look through them, there are good ones, and there are bad ones...I just snapped away at anything that looked remotely interesting in hope that most of the pics come out nice. Sorry for slowing down your computers and internet! i am currently uploading all of em, so they are not up yet.
DONT WORRY THOUGH! I am currently Getting them up! Most of them should be up tonight, if i dont run into any complications...
Im on a laptop...that only runs USB 1.1...yes...i know, the laptops crap. my computer isnt running currently.

Hell yes, so many good pics. And yeah, citytire is the best for coming out and supporting Just Drift for Top Drift Battle. They make things so much easier for us out there. Their shop is pretty convenient to get to as well if you live in LA so I'll definitely be supporting them with all my business from now on. Should be heading back there in a week or so to get some tires mounted on my 17's.

Thank you citytire! i was pitted right in front of them, they made changing my tires so easy, and they're quick! Awesome for a guy like me who doesn't have extra rims to mount tires on in advance of the event.
