SR20 harness plug identification. Minimum wiring to make run.
I figure about now would be a good time to tear into the wiring on the Corolla. It's an s13 redtop sr20det in a 1985 Toyota Corolla. I've got the harness pulled from the engine, and known plugs are marked. I need help identifying the plugs I am confused about, and which plugs are necessary to make the engine run. I want to open up the harness to lengthen and shorten as necessary, but I would also like to eliminate all unused plugs from the harness to not only make initial wiring easier, but any troubleshooting in the future as well. I'm not running a/c or powersteering, CONSULT, and aftermarket gauges throughout.
1-???? (plugs in between 3 and 4 intake runner) 2-AAC Valve maybe??? (plugs in between 3 and 4 intake runner) 3-Wastegate Valve control solenoid? Needed? 4-EGR Sensor? Needed? 5-???? 6-???? 7-???? 8-???? 9-H20 temp sensor. (found on the side of the head next to the throttle body.) Is this needed? |
