I think instead of a re-call they just need to fix the issues and offer trade ins for people who want them and free cases fore the rest.

Well it does kinda suck.
However, speaking for myself it's not a deal breaker. I've been using my iphone 4 for a few days now. I got a phone case (as i would have anyways). Really, there is no noticeable loss of reception w/ the phone cover. Even if there were, it's not a terrible inconvenience to hold the phone w/out the death-grip portion. I'm not saying this design flaw is excusable by any means. However, I don't think the flaw itself is a deal breaker for most. I get the impression it's an excuse for apple-haters to bash on more than it is a legit problem (such as AT&T's horrid phone reception). yeah, it totally is subjective & depends on user preference. I just don't see the big deal myself. As far as AT&T vs. Droid/ HTC whatever phone goes, Speaking for myself, I just prefer the ease of the Apple interface. The same apps seem a lot more polished for Apple than the droid. (used a Droid for 2 months on Verizon before I got rid of it). Now if you could have a LEGIT Apple software on Droid / HTC phone, then I probably wouldn't mind it. Android just isn't for everyone, regardless of whether or not the hardware/network is better. There really isn't much point in beating a dead horse beyond that. |

I went into the AT&T store yesterday inquiring about the iPhone 4... I would have walked out of the store with one if:
A) They had one in stock. B) The AT&T salesman didn't SWEAR against the phone. So I went to another store and picked up the new Samsung Captivate with the Droid OS... I can honestly say I think I made the right choice.

Everyone is still saying the end of this month for the white Iphone. Kinda jank that it wasn't available for release with the black one.
