J30 vs 240sx Brakes Comparison (pics)

I am currently in the process of upgrading my front brake setup from stock to the Infiniti J30 setup. While doing research for this upgrade, I found that many of the how-to's either have conflicting information or dead links to photos. The upgrade is nothing new or revolutionary, but I figured I would post some comparison photos for others to reference.

For those who are not familiar with the J30 upgrade, there are a few reasons why one would choose this modification:

-Larger rotors - 11" Diameter / 28mm thick (same as Q45)
-Larger dual piston calipers
-Direct bolt on (4 lug vehicles will need the rotors redrilled)
-Maintains nearly identical brake bias as stock so no need to modify the Brake Master Cylinder

I sourced both the rotors and calipers online from JC Whitney. The calipers are refurbed units that I plan on coating black before installing. The J30 calipers are very similar to the Q45 units yet slightly cheaper. The Q45 calipers are a bit deeper around the piston housing, so they appear slightly larger in mass but have identical piston layout/size.
