i have a 93 240sx with an s14 sr20det in it. came out of work today, went to start the car, it started fine. ran for like 8 seconds then shut off and wouldnt start again, fans wont turn on, all other electronics work. Its turning over so its not the starter. hooked up the jumper cables to my brothers car just incase the battery was alittle low, still didn't start. fans still wont turn on. my car is stuck at work.

please let me know what the problem could be and how i can fix it, thanks-luke

could be ignition problem , like sparkplug , coilpack, didnt get any fire...etc

everything you listed is fine. except how would i konw if the coil pack was bad?

When you turn the ignition on do you hear the fuel pump prime? Check your dash connector and make sure its seated properly.

fixed it! it was just a fuel pump fuse. got it fixed! thanks for the help!!

fuel pump fuse? my friend had the same problem, turns out his wires on the pump were touching somehow, id pull the pump out and make sure the wires in there are good.
