S15 SR20DET into S14 non turbo Help required
Hi guys this is my first post
I have the s15 engine harness and engine and ECU and 6spd trm so it pretty much is a straight swap, but the problem I'm having is the abs on s14 may have different pinouts to s15 abs, I can't find any diagrams on this and I'm not sure how to find what pins do what, the plugs are also the same so if there are any pins different I can just re pin the plugs. Would appreciate if you guys can help me out!! |

first off, is your car s14 or s14A? you're in UK, so your car already has a s14 sr20det?
also, do you have a factory service manual for your car? Wiring diagrams for your car? I'm assuming you intent to KEEP functioning abs, right? |

Ok. So is this a euro spec s14 200sx with an s14 sr20det? Is this a usdm s14 240sx with a ka24de? We need to know what you’re working with here.

S14a means s14 after change. ie Kouki(97-98). S14b is before change, Zenki(95-96).
The S15’s ABS system is very different with the VSS being in the Differential. Although the Body plug next to the ECU is the same physically. The pin out is different from the S14 to the S15. Things like AC and ECCS have different pins IIRC. I don’t know anyone using the S15 Harness and ECU and running ABS. I’m sure you can use the S15 lower(transmission) harness and S15 Differential. Then convert the signal to the dashboard with a Dakota digital. But, I don’t know what the differences are between the S15 and S14 solenoid block is. It could be just a repin to the S14 connector or it could be totally different operation. Looks like Wiring specialties has it figured out and that would be your best bet. You can email them with your current dilemma and make sure this harness will work. But, it looks like it does. https://www.wiringspecialties.com/s1...ss-s14-silvia/
