Official 613DriftWerks Track Day 1
Ok guys, here it is...turns out we can only get it from 5:30, but that will lower costs. It is now only $75 for the time. If the weather is ghey or whatever, its still on...drifitin in the rain is so much more funner when your a noob... Pending any other problems, lets get some names on the list, and deposits. I'm flexible on the deposit thing, but since I am charging the $1150 to my credit card, I dont wanna be hit with too much 18.5% interest, so payments can be sent to mailto[email protected] <------- ONLY Email Money Transfers form the 5 big banks, paypal should be sent to mailto:[email protected] I dont think Ill charge more at the track, unless your name isnt on the master list, ie. random people you tell to come that dont register will likely be $85 or something.
Also when spreading the good word, try to keep it to FR cars, unless theyre really good friends with you and aware that drifitng takes precedence, IE, if your not drifting, back up off the people who are and give them space....AWD cars are cool too, same thing though, since this is a Drift Practice for 613DriftWerks. We all know where it is, and we all know how to get there. If not, it is likely you live on the way there and can convoy with someone, as Im in the east end of Ottawa, and I dont think there are any guys west of Shannonville on here... Now, I will be bringing a mini-BBQ and hotdogs and buns (maybe ketchup/mustard) and a cooler of pops and water. Thats right, its free for all those who paid to drive on the track (not much, but its the best I can think of). So if we all show up around 4pm, we can chill in the parking lot, fry up some hot dogs or if you should choose to bring hamburgers or whatever, you can fry 'em up on the grill. As an added incentive for those wishing to go, and as thanks for your support in the rebuilding of 613DriftWerks, all those who make it to the "Second Gear" rank in postings (>50), your name will be entered into a hat and pulled out. If your the lucky guy, you'll get a nice romantic walk on the beach with our good friend Mats, since he Oh so adores it .....but seriously, you can win your track time fees....pretty sweet deal eh.... Track time + free lunch + free track time = Fucking Ballin'..... 1. Brian (paid) 2. Mats (paid) 3. Matt aka. Shlammed (613driftwerks.com) 4. Jon (son240sx.ca) 5. Justin (son240sx.ca) 6. Season (son240sx.ca) 7. Anthony (son240sx.ca) 8. Joe aka Joecrack (613driftwerks.com) PAID 9. I don't think we had that many good pictures mainly because the only place you can watch from is the pits which line the straightaway, and the fact that most people who came were driving all the time.
