What kind of car alarm system do you have?
I mean a car alarm system lol. And do you like it? It seems the best way to gauge whats good for you is to research price/features as well as asking others as there isn't(as far as I've seen) a comprehensive review of various systems online. Also, does having manual door locks affect which system you can use?

lol Actually, I lock my doors, and I have the only green 2door e36 in the area, and I live on an army post. So I think im safe. besides, there's nothing in my car worth stealing. A broken casette player, and some used clothes.

They all work the same now days...
Key options to add to any system is the Glass Break Sensor and the Tilt Sensor. Most theft is Smash and Grab or Tow your shit these days.

I carry it daily. People know I carry daily. I can legally blow your head off for fucking with my car. I always wondered what brain looks like oh my cheek, be a sweet face book pic no doubt, i'd do the lip thing, you know the one,,, the chics do it! oh yea... I even leave my keys in it... lol. Plus NH, was few scum bags, and I just moved father away from them. Massholes jump the border and steal... having a shop was interesting... 18 yr old kids think bragging about stealing is cool. SO I hung a 12 gauge on my shop wall. that worked. Unloaded too! gotta let em hear it. hahaha Carry a gun, if you dont and you get rolled. You will wish you did, they make nice belt buckle guns, .22 you can fit in to pocket, wallet guns. dont let Scumbags or anyone take whats yours. EVER. |

If you don't find all 7 cut-off swithces on the car, and place them in the proper position (some should be on, some should off) before you turn the ignition, the Claymore Mine under the drivers seat takes care of you. Plus I get a convertible and new interior out of the deal.

I have had compustart 2w900FM in both the 240 and the WRX. Have had good luck with both. When I get my STi, I am giong to get the super spectrum Compustar for the added range being I use it as a car starter also.

~30ish minutes from the time I reported it, they mangled the kit and got the CD player but thats it... And I agree its total luck of the draw but for what its worth I will continue to use lojack on any other car purchases

Let me tell you instead about where I put my hide-a-key, and the combination to my safe, as well as my social security number and my mother's maiden name.

Ravelco anti theft, Lo-Jack, and a Viper 791xv pager remote. ravelco itself has never had its system bypassed, and for those who attempt to tow my shit, i get a call on my cell phone the minute it moves. in less than 5 minutes PD is notified and tracking has begun. concrete walls will be what people see when they eye my car. the whole concealed weapons permit thing is a surprise when i catch you in action if local PD doesnt.
