![]() went to replace my thermostat today do to it not opening and went to tighten everything down and my dumbass overtightened one of the bolts and ended up spinning it off. any one got any ideas on gettin out the bolt. i tried fitting a needle nose around it to twist it off but not enough of the bolt is sticking out and tried hitting it out at an angle to spin it out but nothing. should i find a reverse drill bit or bolt extractor for that little shit?

Invest in a set of screw extractors - I can't tell you how many times the same thing happened to me. Craftsman has the best quality kit I've used - cheaper ones tend to break or wear out after a few screw removals.
