NISMO catback exhaust system for S14 made by Fujitsubo Legalis R Evo

Gave it a good polish

Quiet during idle and inside cabin sound like stock while outside has a nice rumble note while the revs climbs

The info Renelovesnike gave you is correct. What ISIS is talking about when they call it a "straight pipe" is the Cat-Back portion you are purchasing is without resonators and mufflers. If you want a fully straight through exhaust, also pick up the 3" test pipe to replace the cat. these will all bolt up just fine to just about any SR or KA (single and twin-cam) downpipe.

That being said, naturally aspirated KA's sound like absolute garbage without at least a resonator on it and we need fewer crappy 240's here in CO. So... there's that.

KA24DE- Pace setter 4-1 header, 2.5in pipe off the header, through cat, straight pipe. reducer for 3 in. angle cut polished tip.

too loud for me and im sure my neighbors also... I agree with z_spool it sounds pretty bad, but works to move exhaust gasses from front to back... =(

Any idea of a nice in-line round muffler(s) that will quiet it down other than a cherry-bomb or flow-master? I want to add an Apexi Noir or WS2 at the back when I have 300$ laying around..

Thats the best photo I have right now.. Sits a little high but its because the 265's and the standard guards aren't a good mix.. needs a bit of guard love and she'll be apples..

Just go with a ebay $130 deal. You can always cut off the final muffler and add your own later. Just make sure whatever you get has a resonator.

My hatch. Spec D catback with a tiny tiny hole in the bottom of the muffler. Sounded great on the KA, hopefully it sounds decent on the SR.

Old pic of my car...But I'm pretty sure these are ISIS Dual N1s. Getting ready to invest into custom resonated 4' inch "blast pipes" when I start to turbo this KA during the winter. But these are pretty awesome sounding for the meantime I must say.

Just a heads up. I had my reinhard db tested and at idle its 93db and at 95% throttle its at 123db. That's with a cat still. My exhaust is non resonated, and baffles and silencers are removed.

Still straight pipe, but i added a Magnaflow muffler to it at the end. I think i need a resonator in the straight section and a small lobster back dump as a tip. As it sounds kind of like a Bridgeport RX7 for some reason.. ill get a sound clip later tonight.

Agreed, I find them extremely nostalgic (I've got a Kakimoto on mine which also has a large silencer)

Ah good to know. That's pretty close to my setup. I have a trust elbow and downpipe. Then it's the stock cat, then a straight 3" non resonated to dual 4" pipes...

It's really loud when you get on it. Luckily it doesn't drone while cruising about. I'm putting those silencers back in for those late night drives...
