get this dayem clip outta here
what did you guys do to get your clip out of your garage? Other then taking it to a junkyard, or cutting it in pieces and throwing it in your neighbors yard. I know there are some places that will come pick up your car and give you money on the spot, but this thing is missing a few things, like half of the car and the engine. Your help is greatly appreciated.

If you cant cut it up and dump the pieces in a near buy dumpster. Call a 240 speed shop in your area and tell them you have a clip that they can use for a rhd conversion. Tell them they can have it for free if they pick it up.

how to unload it.....
1. Load it onto a truck
2. Drive to your local Walmart 3. Park your clip in the handipcap parking 4. Go home

Before you get rid of it, did you take EVERY last nut and bolt off? My brother stripped his clip of every single potentially useful scrap of wire, vacuum hose, steering rack, nut, bolt, screw, washer......
Having that pile of stuff in the garage has been tremendously useful. Then he took a Saw-z-all and cut the whole thing into bits. |

I have a dead KA covered by a trash bag in my front yard right now. I hate having to throw out huge things, its a big hassle.
I once threw out an old L24 (thats out of a 240z for some of you) block by loading it into the back of my friend's sister's truck with the tailgate down and doing dounts behind an old abandoned theater until the block fell out. Then we got some burgers and drove home happy. 3 years later, the engine was still there.... |

just throw it in the back of a truck, find a golf course, reverse really fast onto the green then stop. stop for taquitos on the way home. |

yea the tranny was a different story. we were holding it up over a dumpster just about to throw it in and some old fat guy runs out and starts yelling "OH I KNOW YOURE NOT THROWING THAT AWAY IN MY DUMPSTER!!!"
to which my friend replied "no, sir, we were actually stealing it, you mind?" he didn't buy our story... |

take it to a metal recycling yard if you have one around your area. they usually pay like $20 per ton or something like that. that is if you have something that you can haul your clip with. i used a car trailer.. just get a few heads and lift it on.
yard should have a crane to pick it up too DONE, then use the money and buy some lunch! |

Look in the phone book to see if there is a place that takes scrap metal. If so, take off eveything you may need then cut the bitch down to managable chunks. Steel goes for something like $.39 a pound these days, I think. How much steel you think you got in that clip? Motors; same thing. Aluminum is in the $.40's, I think, per pound. Gotten rid of few things that way in my day. Wish there was a place like that for bodies...
