i'm guessing that 160 thousand miles   that's about the time when my transmission started getting lazy, and decided to grind. now i grind in third and fourth no matter what.   good thing i bought another transmission for $125!    anyways. just something to look for.

Yeah I guess thats where my car has been for the last couple thousand clicks....grinding from 2 to 3 and sometimes 3 to 4..ouch...

Even with a engine rebuild or swap..just seeing the odo. with over 200,000 is just painful.

I'm sitting at 125k miles right now. .  Transmission is starting to show it's age, sometimes fights me going into reverse, and is now doing the same in first.

you guys checkin your hydraulic lines? making sure theres no leaks? that would be the first place i would look. then see if you have the bushing in your clutch pedal. otherwise it would be causeing grinding in your trans due to the mast cylinder not being depressed. just some thoughts to help a lil. :-D
