Thumbs up S-Chassis Specific Grounding Kits for KA, SR, CA

Hey guys.
I've made a couple grounding kits for my friends and I and thought I'd share with the rest of you if there's anybody that's interested.

The cables are made from Knukonceptz cables, some of the best in the industry, with copper ring connectors and Raychem heat shrink tubing.
Also uses Knukonceptz Bassik negative battery terminal connectors.
I had everything measured and tested to fitted KA-E, KA-DE, SR's, and CA's.
These are bolt-on OE replacement ground cables so don't need to drill any holes, just replace the old stock cables.
Can also do custom kits upon request.

Some of us run drift and time-attack events with these and have held up pretty good, no issues. Ran multiple electrical tests with resistance and had good readings throughout engine and chassis.

Selling these kits for $40 shipped. Coupon code: zilviaspecial
Kits can be purchased here: http://www.socalschassis.com/product/grounding-kit/
Comment below if you're interested, for reviews, custom setups, or just general questions.

Also have matching positive terminals +$10.

Matching Positive terminal:

on a stock 240 it goes...battery negative to chassis battery tray to KA24DE intake manifold. then the short one goes from rear/right engine block to firewall.

The OEM positive connection needs to be drilled out 1 size larger to bolt directly to the side of the positive terminal, which I haven't done yet. Currently I have to connected with an L shape copper bracket I made, bottom picture. Will post another picture when I drill it out a little bigger. I have a couple people that completely took off the OEM connector and crimped new ring connectors, which you can do also.

Thanks! The installed pics are actually my prototype stuff. Actual kit looks cleaner and depends on how much care the person installing them takes.

This kit fits both s13 and s14. Tested on both chassis's on the street and on the track (time attack & drifting).

I've been using dkim's full grounding kit (from battery to chassis and from chassis to intake manifold) with the terminal connector for about 8 months now.. It's been working rock solid ever since and I've been having better cold starts compared to the generic garbage they sell at auto-parts stores made of recycled coat-hangers (their cables are STIFF as heck and terrible). A great way to replace an old 22+ year old factory grounding cable or a ghetto generic auto-parts store version. Either way, it's a solid product and each one is made by hand with great attention to detail.

Thank you bladetech8! Good to hear things are still going good!
Always trying to improve the kit and what I can do to make it better. I think since 8 months, I've upgraded the cables to Oxygen Free Copper(OFC) cables still by KnuKonceptz and using Raychem heatshrink, some of best in the industry with copper ring terminals.
Currently, I've yet to come across better quality pieces that I can upgrade to without over-doing specs/cost.

I have to agree with this I just purchased this kit and its working wonders! I got the positive / negative kit. I had some ghetto wires that would ground my car out but with these new ones cold starts have improved and the quality of the product is very nice.. You can feel the authenticity with this product. I would definitely recommend these for anyone's next build !

i've thought about this but will take some more time to figure out the details.
was there anything specific you were interested in?
my grounding kit should work with a relocated battery as long as you have a chassis ground near the battery. positive line would take customizing but if you need specific lengths of the ground cables, i can make them according to your measurements.

^^^I had it relocated to the trunk a while back and my battery kept getting drained. I moved it back to the front and that problem went away. I would really like to keep it in the trunk but I fear the problem would come about again. I had some one else install it but I guess it was jimmy rigged which was no good. I was going to buy a moroso b.relocation kit. But I like the cables/wires your using better.

Honestly, I've spent hoursss researching various cables and electrical and audio companies and these cables are some of the best in the industry. Going to be hard to find something better.
I can definitely make you custom grounds, you'll just need to send me pictures and take measurements of the cables you want. I can also get you a new positive cable, which seems like you'll need if your battery keeps draining. But I'll need to see how your positive cable is currently setup and where it's connected to on your harness.
I did this recently for my friends SR. He relocated his battery behind the passenger seat.

It's nice to hear that a small project you started for your friends is actually helping and benefiting a lot of other people nationwide.

Back story;
These grounding kits actually started out because I noticed my grounds were looking bad and looking at my friend's grounds, they were having similar issues. I felt that the OEM grounds could be upgraded and perform better with better protection. So as a Christmas present to my friends, I decided to create custom grounds for them.

I started doing some research on electrical components and cables, consulting with various companies(automotive, audio, electrical, etc). Spent hours upon hours of researching and finding the best combination of parts to put together that'll last in various scenarios(street to performance). Given the time and resources I had, I came up with this kit and was able to get it to my friends. We were able to run various tests to make sure everything worked properly and even had a few chances to test out on the local race tracks with good results.

After finalizing everything and being happy with how everything worked out and ready to move on...various people started noticing the grounding kits and were asking for their own sets as well. And now, after so many requests, I decided to make them for public orders since I already spent the time and research to make them fit for s-chassis's.

If anybody has any questions or custom orders for special sizes and lengths, feel free to reply here or pm me directly!
