so i literally just got off work like 30 mins ago...i cooked an amazing BBQ for my coworkers cuz its the holiday weekend...

i even get a full tank of 91 from my bosses CC

im at the stop and other cars behind me...i decide to move a lil more foward, not reving hard, just enough to nudge me a 1'' foward...as i brake i hear a car behiund me rev a bit and i look in my rear mirror to see this acura SUV just hit my car from behind

so i get the a lil whipped in the neck( im feeling it more right now actually)and regroup myself for a second...i put the ebrake in and step out of the car...the other driver got out aswell and first thing he does, is ask ''r u ok, are u hurt'' and im a lil shaken at the moment, i dont answer...i just go look at my car, the bumper is slightly shifted to the right, u can tell when u stand infront of it... and the guys car is fine...not even a scratch, and he obviously looked worried, he handed me his info and i handed him mine, he didnt try to deny it or anything... so i just told him

dont worry about it... car is fineand its a holiday weekend...he told me he would contact me later next week to atleast pay to get my bumper pulled out or realigned...

i was like tht be great and thank you...i drive off...

i just got home and my neck is a bit stiff, but fuck it...

any way...arent i just the nicest fuck...

my reason for not bothering with it is...there no real visible damage to my car...so whats the point...and frankly i dont feel like spending any time at the hospital right now since its nothing...

the main reason i let him go was because he was curtious to me and not himself...he didnt try to blame me for anything,

what are u guyses thought...

but just ba curiousity what do u guys think i could have pulled from this...

i know 1 thing...im keeping a camera in my car from now on...next fuck to hit me is getting owned...

ive experience real whiplash be4...like i need hospital medical care shit...honestly ive gotten worst pain from bumper car rides, im totally fine...and like i said...he wasnt a dicka dn upfront offered to pay for the bumper... and the bumper is actually fine..its just missaligning...u can see the gap between the bumper and the tailight shrinking as u follow the line from lef tot right... thanks for the concerns though...i am icing it JIC

My civic was rear ended in SD, and it didnt look bad, bumper bowed a little, and was mis-aligned, took it to the body shop and the frame was snapped in half. Just be on the safe side. No need to go ape shit and sue the hell out of someone, but make sure you and your things are 100%.

But a neck is pretty tricky. Generally a LEGIT case of whiplash usually hurts the worst about a week or so later. Sometimes your neck pain will never goes away. If it's soar now then go get yourself checked. It may benefit you later. A lot of people think that whiplash is fake and that it's simply for frivolous lawsuits, it's not. Whiplash actually does huge damage to your brain. My mom was in a car accident where she got whiplash and a detatched retna, among others. A couple weeks later she started having pain down her back and neck. Progressively it got worst and was diagnosed with fibro mialga, which is a muscle desease. The doctor said that it's usually caused by a tramatic injury to the body or head, which was from the accident. You never know man.

a month ago i was backing up in my z in a asian bank parking lot.

So I'm backing up and another van is backing up and we hit each other.

Driver got out and so did i.

He had a small dent on his rear bumper and my rear bumper was scuffed.

I looked at him and so oh well do you care? He said no and so we both moved on with our lives.

Damn asian drivers.

but due to my brothers concern, i filed a police report to CYA myself, ad if i wake up sore ill hit up the clinic. which to be honest i didnt wanna do but my brother insisted and hes the reason i have insurance...he also called our insurance rep
