Nice car. Too bad it probably won't ever come to America. It would make for a nice Avalon replacement, but then again it may rob Lexus sales. Toyota deprives us from all their good cars. They must get a kick out of it.

Yea the fronts on a lotta Toyota's look Infinity-ish. I suppose neither cares cause the cares aren't sold on the same shores.

I was referring to the styling. The Toyota styling in Japan looks Infinity-like. We don't get that styling here because of the likeness to Infinity.

No the Crown is a legacy vehicle in it's own world. Rest of Toyota/Lexus styling is the exact same in the US and JP. Car sold there is the same as sold here. Japanese get the same shitty Camry's as we do.

Headlightsm taillights, front fenders ont he Crown have the similar bulge as the Camry, Crown is more aggressive and offered with optional aero, front fascia's are not even close, wheels are more aggressive looking, the way the c pillar shapes the back on the passenger window, and the side mirrors are mounted completely different.

I guess other then that they look like identical twins.

AJ, you are completely missing my OG point. My OG point was that we don't get the styling you see on the Crown because it is very similar to Infinity's.

We will never get the Crown. We get EVERYTHING else. Infinty is just a rebrand. They still sell the same Nissan's over there and they have no problem in Japan.

Crown is it's own sub brand. You can't compare any Toyota/Lexus styling to it. We get everything else they get looking the same.

Understood. Crown is a name in Japan. If they tried to sell it here and it looked like that people would not know it wasn't an Infinity.

Maybe you are. But the average consumer is not. Look at our Domestic styling.

But, going back to the OP's note on the cluster. I'm sure it will appear on the GS/LS and the Crown will use the same hybrid drive as the GS/LS.
