so i just bought my 240 a couple weeks ago, dude claimed it just needed a clutch.
i take it to the transmission shop today to have it looked at. mechanic informs me that the tranny is fried, and it needs to be rebuilt or swapped.

so does anyone know of any good shops in socal that sell SR20 transmissions?

or does anyone have a tranny that is in GOOD condition and will stand by that statement?

G-Dimension, sr20det, 240sx, 180sx, rb25det, rb26dett is having a garage sale hit up james chang there or marco at Welcome to SR20Store! - Home both should sell it to u for a reasonable price.

ya i know KA is the same. how much of a pain is it to swap the bell housing though? and if i used a KA tranny with the SR bell housing, would i still need a JDM cluster to get the speedo working?
