Coming out of a resteraunt to my parked car today, I noticed some liquid puddling underneath. I poped the hood an noticed a large diameter hose coming out of my firewall that is about 5 inches long, angles straight down, and just ends. This is where the coolant looking substance was slowly dripping from.
My coolant level stayed the same though and I never overheated coming home. The hose is on the passenger sife of the firewall, sort of by the fuel filter. If anyone have a pic of an engine bay or firewall, I can pinpoint it. So, anyone know if this hose is suppoed to be connected to something? Maybe a heater core line or someting? I don't want to drive, but I do have work tomarrow Jeff

I think it's just for the AC to drip condensation or something. I noticed mine angled 90 degrees down with nothing hooked up too. I'd verify it if i had my chilton's on me, but unfortunately we're having people over and they're sleeping in my room with my chilton's in it. I'll check it tomorrow morning before I go to work and let you know what I find.

I would appreciate it if you could, but if you can't that's okay too. Jeff
