Thats the one that mounts in the rear below the diff. You can see it form behind once it's on.

Kind of like the front tension rod support bar if you don't run the nismo front brace.

The Traction Support Tie Rod will bolt up to the rear subframe, behind the Diff. and right in between the Toe Arms.

Here is a picture of our old version installed on our s13 coupe:

The Traction Support Tie Rod is the Red Support bar in the center of the picture.

Well, we've tested them on a couple of our employees s13's at local weekly events at Adams Motorsports Park.
Also on our own Formula D spec. s13 coupe at FD-Long Beach(2013)
and FD-Irwindale(2013).
All arms are holding up just fine.

Hello,
The Tension Arms, as well as all other Arms/Rods/Bars listed, will come with all parts and hardware as pictured.
To answer your question, No, as you will be able to use the bolt and nuts from the OEM Tension Rod.

so I have been having an issue with my car's braking. wasn't the brake system, rather the driver side tension rod seems to have seized, while the passenger side moves pretty freely on the ball joint - the tension rods are megan racing and are blue in color. I haven't driven more than 10k on them and never hit or bent them. my question is how well are the heim or ball joints. i'm not looking to go into this issue again. I may purchase a full set or arms for my s13. warranty or anything? I am willing to spend almost quadruple for the most expensive sets, let me know why these are of good quality
