So today my key broke (not in the ignition, in my pocket)

It's a RHD S13. Say I was to buy a LHD ignition lock, will it fit? Seems like it would. Also, can you just buy the lock part? Or do you need the entire assembly?

Or would it be easier to have a locksmith make the key from my current ignition lock?

if you call your local nissan part store with just the vin, they can make a copy!
its like 16$ for key with plastic cover.
5$ for regular key

I'm not sure, but I don't think my ignition matches my VIN because of the rhd swap.

your correct it wont match unless u have the jdm vin that was on ur front clip. and to answer ur original question you have to buy a RHD ignition cylinder the LHD ones are different.
