There are only 2 spots left for this event. If you were planning on waiting until the last minute... DON'T!!!
Please review the rules and regulations if you are a participant. Spectators need to take a look at the Spectator Info please!!! Spectators are $5 and will be limited to the grandstand area. If you would like to enter the pits you will need to pay and additonal $5 at the pit area entrance. See you all there!

You'd have to sell your spot. No Refunds. Oh and btw, We've negotiated a total of 8 hours of drifting from 1pm-9pm so that should be more than plenty for the 40 of you drifting! Enjoy, hope to see and meet you guys there. I'll be the guy with the Green S14 with Busted Aero! (thanks to Willow Springs. doh!)

I think Davis posted this in the No More Norcal Thread....
If you have a crack on your windshield, is that going to be a problem? I ask because I also have a cracked windshield on the FC and was hoping NOT to have to spend ~$150 on another windshield right away.... |

BBQ's are not okay at the event for obvious reasons. Flammable fluids in the pits etc. AMP said no to this and it's understandable.

We will send out an update with the changes for the R&R's as well as the info regarding those interested in tandem practice later this week after we finalize the details. Thanks for your patience. If you have any questions please email them to [email protected] so that I can answer them wide to everyone all at once via an email notification.
Thanks! Jay

The no passengers rule was stated in an email issued to anyone signed up. Its always fun to scare people in your passenger seat, oh well. It will still be a great event!

i also agree... no passengers kinda sucks, but rules are rules... Guess some of my friends who are coming to watch are going to be sad no ride alongs..
also... what if the passenger is another registered driver?? There will always be a better driver somewhere, so maybe we can ride with that better driver and see how the driver i guess drives and learn from him??? haha does that even make sense??? ugh.. been studying non stop for finals sorry if it doesnt..

Are you guys serious?
First of all if you read the rules and regulations there is an * that says they are all subject to change per event. In this case, we need this first event to go smooth as silk. We would like all of you to come out and drive!!! This event is not for spectators and passengers to come see and participate in a show. It's an open drift practice for you guys to come practice. We are only allowing spectators because we understand that people would like to come out and watch. AMP is controlling all of the spectator stuff. And as for the strict tech rules. You obviously have not been to a real sanctioned track day/event. We are trying to be official and professional about this. Safety first, and YES, if AMP was doing the tech inspections they would care about the crack on the windshield. If you talk to those that have issues with their windows you'll find that we have worked with them to make sure they can drive at the event. We don't put these rules out there to discourage anyone from driving etc. They are for safety reasons. What we really need is for everyone to act like adults and stop crying about stuff that is irrelivant to the happenings at the event. We may allow passengers at later events, but for this first event it will not happen. If this doesn't work for you I apoloigize, but I do realize like I said in another thread... I WILL NEVER MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY.

Okay to clarify... other drivers will be allowed as passengers, but no spectators as passengers. Sonny and George will also be there to instruct/ride along with you guys if needed.

Yes, we know 8 hours is a long time. So we hope that everyone is satisfied with the amount of time given. We did receive emails about this and that is why we extended the event another 2 hours. It should be more than enough time for everyone we hope. www.driftbattle.org check the event details and the flyer above for spectator info.
