The Midnight Express
Ok so here's the deal. i bought a 90 hatch in june 2011 for 1600. 5speed 192k even. drove 200 miles from home to get her. ive been on 240sxf but sadly the site doesnt much traffic so i thought i should try zilvia for a change
pics when she first came home.... no radio but a lil surprise behind speaker panels Fast forward to now, and after: doing some custom interior work, custom front work, some mods here and there, this is her today after 1 year and 2 months.... i will be continuing my build and updating here as well as 240sxf. just wondering what people think on the mainstream site... i am a little..ya know.. ....so, ya.... |

The flip ups and harness was fucked by prev owner so I got universal projectors, got a 12 pack box and started fabricating a lower housing. Once done I made the metal one and bolted the projectors onto them. Then I took the stock pop up hood and welded plates onto them. Some bondo and paint and that's the finished product. I don't have high beams tho

I have been thinking about doing that with my headlights too. I am not a fan of the flip up but like the look when they are down. I have working motors I might try to sell.

its been awhile
Yeah ive been neglectful. i moved back to cali just before thanksgiving. lets just say moving to louisville was the WORST fucking experience in my life and i will never do something like that again. i cannot even begin to explain how burned i got out of all of it. Now, im just moving on and going back to the one thing thats stuck with me-my s13 :-P kinda sad actually lol. ANYWAYS..... as for updates.
Quickie then pics 1. Obviously the wiring specialties harness. 500 sucks balls but in the end its honestly worth it. 2. 180sx side skirts. took awhile to find. yes theyre frp but they amazing and idgaf lol. 3. My christmas present from her was a dead starter solenoid. Bitch. lol so in a circuit sports replacement went. 4. i lowered it back down and had some issues with the wheel well rubbing bad. it was bent to shit and flimsy and was tired of "shaping" it so i cut them out. yes they are open. yes they will most likely get tubs of some form. 5. Passanger side body to core support was lets say missing a lot of metal. i riveted two 18 gauge plates to hold it together for now. yes i know its ghetto. its tempory because i was getting flex. it works for now. 6. Fixed my stuck BOV. loud as fuck now. i guess it has the big spring in it lol. 7. The bad can of primer was getting worse on the roof. sanded it and plasti dip'd it cause its not worth to repaint right now. 8. i cant really think of what else??? PICTURESSSSS Random shots since she's out on the road again This happened when a driver decided to roll up with us and push it hard as an inexperienced night driver. it was such a beautiful car. Caggiano it's not not showing me the pictures? Are they mine about the hood pins? And if so to address both of you I'm adding more to it today. Adding another bar that will secure it straight down as well. So three different points in the chassis it will be locked down and the bottom bar will eliminate flex. I'm using 1/8th inch aluminum

Ok so I added a lower bracket on pass side. I took her up to 60 and the pins need to be adjusted a little. Haven't added one to driver side as I'm trying to think of how I'm gonna mount it. The ARC box complicates it lol

Very nice I have not seen a nice looking S13.5 240 in a long time this came out really nice, Silvia logo on the taillights is pretty lame but I'm still digging the overall car itself more pictures please.

Thanks man. It looks good! I've got a workz rep bumper on my s13.5 which is almost the same as yours. I'm pretty sure yours is a vertex.
But I've been trying to see how the chuki or kouki skirts line up with it. Where did you get your skirts? And how much were they? Sent from my ObamaPhone using Tapatalk.

Thanks man! And I bought them from Driven08 here on the forums. Just search and you'll find him he still has more FS. Like 200$ I think. They're FRP but they're literally spot on no molding tape needed. I love them. |
