thanks guys its a lot of fun. we went to some meets tonight to maybe find a race. ended up racing a turbo civic making like 550 and had slicks. i was on waste gate, granny shifting, had no timing, and bad tires. i stretched him by about 6 cars, let off for about 2 seconds, then started slowly braking. long story short i guess he was "coming for me" so we decided to not make him pay. blah blah blah.

yeah im excited to see the big numbers as well. after i get some real tire on the back, ill have a kenne bell boost a pump on the way and go for my big number. ill have some pictures up later for everyone.

i work at insane speed (insanespeed.net) and we use a none public machine shop, but i know that vegas machine (or at least i think thats the name) does good work. and as far as exhaust shops im not too sure, we do all fabrication work in shop (exhausts, intercooler piping, intercoolers, brackets, more or less anything).

whats CR on the pistons? i just ordered a BC stroker 2 weeks ago i went with a 8.5:1 super excited for it to arrive until i read that you've waited 5 months for it haha

quick update
im going to be changing some parts on the car so it will be more drivable and more my style, so i have PARTS FOR SALE. *Id like to sell all of the trans components together* --------- Z32 trans - still like new adapter plate for sr20det DSS custom 1 piece drive shaft (s13/s14 for the z32 to 240sx diff) custom starter set up spec lightened flywheel - about 200 miles on it spec clutch (not sure which one, but it held 735whp) - has about 200 miles on it brand new z32 slave custom short shifter, lines up perfect with s14 (not sure about 13, but i know it will work) would like to get $3800 for this set up -------- stance gr+ coilovers for s14 $offer$ -------- sparco fighter seat (black with rails and s14 bracket) $300 - would like local only Last edited by HouseElf; 01-08-2011 at 03:54 PM.. |

i dont understand. if you do the stroker kit, and over bore and resleeve. why not go 90mm pistons, and take it over a 2.4 i currently have a 2.2 with just 90 mm bore and stock stroke but i would love to make it a 2.4 and run a gtx 35

i will scan a picture of my dyno sheet as soon as i get a chance, unfortunately we could not get a proper reading of the rpm, so its by mph and we did not have a torque reading.

this build is epic! if anybody throws on a negative comment they're fucking retarded. keep up the good work, it's great seeing people take the time and money to do things right. it really earns you respect in not just the tuner scene, but the car scene in general. whether you're into muscle cars or crotch rockets this is respectable and impressive. congrats!

i was actually shocked how it ended up sounding, my friend has an evo, and when it was a built 2.4 i swear it sounded exactly the same as my 240sx.
thanks for the compliments guys, ill try and get some new pictures up asap. aswell as a dyno sheet
