I went over it in my head a million times so I can only speculate it must have found its way in there when I was boost leak testing the system. The 90* elbow that feeds the turbo intake points up so it makes a nice catchall

Answer For the price the Isis is a good turbo. The Garrett BB one is better although i have the .86 a/r exhaust housing and the .64 a/r housing would spool even faster. The .86 is better on the top end.

Its just a journal version of the gt28. A REAL gt2871r will be better in spool and power all around than the 38 isis. The isis is made for a budget turbo for people not wanting to spend 1300 on a turbo. No one has hit 400whp on the 38 isis besides some shops. So take it for what it is. Now an ebay 2871 will be worse than the 38 isis.
