my attempt to make a decent s13 coupe
so i picked up this coupe on my birthday its a 1989 240sx coupe with a cam'd ka24e on eibach lowering springs and 17x9 rota grids
got it home and installed some stance coils i had from my last car and brand new pbm rucas swapped to a chuki front end that i had on my other shell then my buddy wanted to take pictures of my car the motor just randomly stopped working while i was driving it so i pulled the ka and picked up an sr started pulling the motor apart because i bought it with a spun bearing so i bought a new crank and new rods and sent them out to the machine shop to make sure everything was in spec and started putting the motor back together ordered pbm hydro and subframe collars picked up version select VI kit and silvia rear valances locally got 50mm rear overs and picked up a 326 wing woke up to this big box from the ups man and it had wheels in it got some more pbm goodies dropped the motor in and got everything mocked up put the car on the ground for the first time in months took the car to my buddies shop and had him weld my fenders and my hydro got the car home and its just been siting on the trailer trying to figure out why the car wouldnt start then the front fenders came in after 3 months of waiting. so i test fitted the rear fenders and the fronts Here's a pic my friend took of my rear suspension a random ass shot finally picked up my ecu. tried plugging it in and it still isnt getting power i think there is something wrong with my fusebox wiring idk i need to find out soon well just got some brand new ikeya forumula outer tie rods also my Powered By Max Front Lower Control arm tension rod combo came in tried getting the car off the trailer myself and it got stuck -__- finally got the car in the garage going to start taking it apart soon to figure out if the reason i have low compression is just headgasket or not well i snapped a cam shaft -___- well i installed my pbm flca tension rod combo and pbm inner tie rods. also ordered pbm drop knuckles and going to order more parts soon also picking up a new motor in the next couple weeks |

If your looking for a decent oil cooler setup I put a lot of work into researching a setup for my car, I've been daily driving all summer with it, and even into late fall here.
Check it out in my build thread in my sig below, not to try and pull views away from your thread. Nice work your doing.

Mine went
When thermostat is closed motor ---> oil filter ---> thermostat ---> motor When oil temp increased enough to open the thermostat motor ---> oil filter ---> thermostat ---> oil cooler ---> motor the thermostat doesn't open up until a certain degree, I can't remember off hand but it would just circulate back to the motor until it opened allowing full flow to the cooler. That way the oil could warm up some allowing the motor to warm up sooner while still continuously going through the oil filter. My stock temp gauge doesn't really go much over the C on a normal day.
