Well I was driving last night and took a corner at about 45 (which I do all the time) and hit a wet spot with my front tires and lost grip and slammed into alot of stuff. Kinda sux since I bought the car about a month ago. Well I wont know the damage until I can get the bumper and fenders and the rear quarter panel off, which my girlfriend is doing for me as I speak since im at work, I'll keep you guys posted but I think the car is going to have to go to car heaven

I bought my car 3 weeks ago and got it into a accident 3 days ago... I have to buy a whole new S13 clip and buy the metal coping around the engine bay sense that is all fucked up. I still dont know how much I am in for

Yeah I will need a whole front clip and a rear quarter panel if it turns out to be worth fixing ......I think there is frame damage though

I walked to my car this morning to find that it was all scratched out because of some moron who couldn't park. My right quarter panel is ruined, the paint off of my bumper is peeling out, the rear end of the car is all crooked now... ARGH!!!!!

That sux for all of you. I've been there before. Luckily my insurance payed for most if it. I just wish I would have used the money for mods at the same time instead of just OEM repair. Anyway, good luck

I damaged my car about two weeks ago too. I was going too fast and did a four wheel slide into the side of the mountain. I was laughing when I steeped out from the car. (I think laughing it off softens the pain...) Good thing I was with three other 240SX guys.

I should probably get full coverage or something, I didn't think it was worth it, but it's like every time I walk to my car there's something new that's wrong on it. I'm not a happy camper, but that's okay...

I only have liability on my car so all of my repairs will have to come out of my pocket

Yeah, me too. I figured I'm gonna paint the car later anyway, why waste money on full coverage?

Your girlfriend does body work? That's pretty cool.

I'm sorry your car is totalled. Think you'll get a new one? Fix this one? Is it possible to fix it at all?

Yeah my girlfriend knows her way around an automobile, she is a really cool girl. I dont really think it is gona be fixable but I will know for sure as soon as I get off work so I'll let ya know then. I would be happy to part it out, nothing really interesting on there though I was saving for a SR swap but looks like I need a new car to put it in first. I had a 1991 LE Fastback, it was the luxury edition so it did not have the LSD or anything like that and I didnt buy any aftermarket parts for it cuz I was going to get the SR. O-Well If there is anything you guys need let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Hey ded240sxowner.
Where are you located?

Does your car have power windows?
If so, I could use your door panels with the switches, how much would u let them go for?

Also.....

Ummm.....nah its ok..thanks anyways

I've shipped door panels before, and it costs about $25.

Plus whatever u were asking for them.
So its best if I get a complete set on my own.

How bad is that frame around the battery? Are you sure it can't be pulled out? Fenders are cheap. I keep telling you all, get a Nissan truck and stick the cool engines in those. It doesn't matter if it's a truck! I have the dent in the fender from the garage, a scraped/dented/killed rear quarter panel from backing into an old abandoned MG in the woods. Just whacking it with the bumper after we added more bullet holes to it. Nothing better to do in Flag. Hey, speaking of which, anyone need a tranny and rearend for a 72 MG? Kinda figured we'd permanently borrow the parts since the thing has been there for 15 years, and the previous bullet holes didn't damage those parts.

if the bend isnt bad, you can have the frame pulled back in. Just go to a reputable shop with some experience, it actually is pretty cheap to get the frame rebent if its not bad, and they can do it to the same or better tolerances than it came from the factory

Same thing with me... When I crashed my Ztt that is... Oh well. I learned not to accelerate into turns at least... Even minor ones, cause there might be wet spots... Accelerate on the straights or ur screwed.

Feel sorry for you guys, I've in Aus and have a 200sx. Driving home from work about 4 weeks ago, I was set up perfectly by a jerk in an Audi. He made a VERY last minute lane change to avoid a parked car, had cars beside me so I took a hit for the team.

Made the most of it. They had to replace the front bar anyway so I got the NISMO bodykit added and paid the extra.

Thanx alchemist, but I think the damage is pretty bad I also might have some frame damage in the rear so I think i'll just look into buying a new 240, part this one out as much as I can Engine ran perfect so it's kinda a bummer but thats life I guess
