Lynwood took a week off, but came out swinging this week, I had to stop reading to laugh.

I could care less about the commentating. Only thing that made me laugh was Jeff Van Gundy's statement about Houston being the top team in the West by the end of the season. Really?! Houston? They might have had a 22-win streak last season, yet got bounced out of the 1st round again. T-Mac will never seem to get out of the 1st round in his career, dubbed the 2nd-rd Virgin.
Fuck what you think. LA beat Boston plain and simple. There seems to be all these questions about LA being soft and not physical, but when Boston pushed us, we pushed back. I can't wait for Feb. 5, when we go into Boston. LA always seems to be under the microscope for every little thing, but we'll take it. I'll admit, Boston is DAMN GOOD. They scared me for a bit when they got the lead late in the 4th. Speaking about the starting 5, Boston, I think, will beat our 5 straight up. Add in the bench, that's where we have the advantage. Our bench was in there for a good portion for the 3rd and 4th quarter and either extended our lead, or kept it close. The small things on that team aren't magnified as much since they were on that win streak, but looking now, they have a very weak bench. Losing Posey will have a big affect on them come March/April when teams are gunning for them. They better sign someone to add veteran leadership off the bench. I feel bad for the Warriors, now Boston is gonna come in tonight and take out their frustrations on them and destroy them. Then on Sunday, they have the Lakers at Staples Center. What a way to end the year for them. |

Actually it's quite fitting to end the year getting destroyed by last year's Finals participants.
We've already seen our "vice president" step into the public eye during a power grab against the GM, only to stupidly hand over extensions to Don Nelson and Stephen jackson, thus robbing himself of any possibility of controlling them. . . . then we've had our coach completely tank the season to the point where he's publicly handing over defensive coaching duties exclusively to his assistants . . . the biggest signing this offseason is pulling another Al Harrington, who himself faked an injury just to get traded. Oh, and Ellis won't be back for another month, the guy we traded Al Harrington for, Jamal Crawford, is out with an injury, and Jack is faking an injury to his hand after bitching at the coach. So basically everyone making any sort of money either sucks, is injured, or has given up already. Except Andris Biedrins, the most underrated center in the league. |

I do feel bad for the Warriors. It was pretty funny when the commentators joked about betting if you could name the Warriors starting 5, due to all their injuries.

Golden State <3
Golden State gave Boston too much (did that actually happen?). Boston with a 2-game slide. They are shaken. Looks like the Christmas game was more than "just another game" eh? |

What
the fuck just happened? I am reluctant to share anything with a Laker fan, but I will gladly share a hearty laugh at kick starting the Celtics' 19-game losing streak! How great is it to have a solid defensive center who can hit FT's off the bench? Turiaf was money with the game on the line. Captain Jack is a good player when he gets plenty of rest (he never gets any rests) and doesn't pretend he's Tracy McGrady (he thinks he's better than TMac from his shot selection usually) Watching Marco Belinelli pwn Ray Allen was priceless Even more priceless than Garnett doing jack most of the game CJ Watson the dleaguer pwning the Celtics at the end was dope. Was that on house or rondo? If it's house, then Nellie is a genius for calling that; if it was rondo, it should be grounds to strip him of any all-star nominations wow the warriors will now lose the next 22 games |

Pretty solid deal all around
Best players are landry and villanueva, clearly. villanueva would seem to be a good fit since he's a scoring big that can stretch the floor for Yao and create his own shot if T-Mac or Yao aren't available (which we know will happen); i believe he only has this year left or one more on his rookie deal, so its a cheap gamble Landry seems to be the dirty work big that Skiles would love and never really had in Chicago. he is also affordably priced, so milwaukee is doing well here. Ramon Sessions made Lue expendable Lakers are in it just to get a role player backup at the point. He might be useful against speedy PG's like Paul and Parker, since neither farmar nor Fisher is the best laterally mihm is 6 fouls against yao and shaq |

If he is to be traded, the deadline is Feb. 19. If he is bought out and signs as a free agent somewhere and wants to be eligible for the playoffs, the deadline to sign is the day after the regular season ends, because teams need to file their 12-man roster .

Cleveland lost to the Wizards. Boston loses to the Knicks. All on the same day. I'm lovin' it!
Like I said before, the Christmas game was more than just a game as Boston fans would call it. That loss was HUGE. They lost 3 games after that day, it sure shook their confidence. Now I hear talks of Marbury going to Boston... lol. Like that'll fix their problems. FUCK BOSTON. |
