May sound dumb but help me out here. I can't seem to find a "manual engine backing plate." Is it needed? Can it be bought aftermarket as I can't seem to find one. Thanks

When I swapped my s14, I just left the auto one in there. No problems

It's a dust plate, it's not required however it is a preventative item. Sooner or later dust dirt and anything else bouncing on the asphalt will get in there.

That's great guys appreciate it. These parts can be a pain to source, if the auto works I'll just run that
