Hey i'm wondering if these brakes will bolt up to a 240...
is it possible to install these brakes on a 240 somehow ...
they look really nice and they are way cheaper then the Brembo Gt's.
what would i need for them to bolt up ?? will they clear some 18x9.5s?

Edit2. I found some rotora 8 piston brakes if these cant fit ill just go with those.

Yes, they'll bolt up just fine as if they were a stock item. You can use your stock rotors and pads too.

Get the Rotoras if you have the cash to blow rather than buying the AMG calipers and figuring out what the hell it's going to take to install them.

I want some 8 piston calipers so I can lock my brakes with superiority.. You do realise the tire compound you'd need to use to prevent locking the brakes right? That's assuming a Nissan mastercylinder/ brake booster can hold enough brake fluid/ give enough pressure to move those pistons..

You'll be fine with some 4 piston Wilwoods....

you can always use endless 8 pistons, ormaby even their 12 pistons. woah.

not but really, correct me if im mistaken but i do believe that all you need to do is make 2 custom brackets for he back of the caplipers. sao that you can bolt them up to a 240.

i will say its 100 % possible, im not saying its possible to do in your back yard, it may cost you more to have the brackets made and what not.

i'd rather make brackets for zo6 brakes if i was trying to re-invent the wheel....but yeah, there are a lot of aftermarket companies who already did the r&d and have complete bolt on kits a lot less than 2g's......

Get some AP 6-piston calipers and have them powdercoated some outrageous color. Then spraypaint "HARDPARKER" on the side and your look will be complete.

LOOOOOLLLLL, ROFL! Ya 8 pistons is useless! Shit you'd be better off with g-35 sliding calipers. Even the stock 240 brakes stop the car perfectly fine, they just fade fast on a hot day. Bigger brakes dos not necessarily = better braking performance, as a matter of fact if you don't ENGINEER your brake system properly you can actually hurt the braking performance (yes I know this is zilvia and engineering is almost un-heard of here).

no spending 2200 on calipers is fucking stupid when you can just do Z32 calipers with good pads will stop just as good and costs 1/3 the amount. then he can take the rest of the money and put it into good tires. 8pistons are for cars that weigh 4500 lbs and need to stop from going 180mph like the audi RS4

my friend is installing those same exact brakes on his r32. he got his from ebay also but for dirt cheap like $500.

i would pass on those since they are $2k, there are lots of better less expensive alternatives.

i know, which is dumb enough. and if its for looks why not just buy brakes that are made for the S/Z/R chassis that would bolt right up for the most part.? so EDM RS4's are goverend at 155, because you know they have the same brakes?

Are you kidding me? Most of the cheaper Wilwood stuff is anything but stiff, which is probably the most important design consideration of a caliper beyond the actual sizing of pistons.

Yes im buying brakes for looks.. its not like they dont perform the same if not better then most sti/evo/z32/z33/r32/r33/r34 brakes... so why wouldnt i want them to look.. Better?. This is car tuning. Performance + looks.
