S14 SR in S13, what fan shroud?
im getting a s14 SR20 in my s13. i have a s13 sr radiator, what fan shroud do i need, s14 or s13? ive heard both, need a for sure answer. thanks

Why am I thinking I've read they are a little different? If you have an S13 one and it fits you're fine. :-)
I'd look towards electric fans if you can, though. Makes a world of difference on my S14 SR. I got a brand new Mishimoto shroud with dual fans for < $200. |

I've ran a few multiple setups, they were just never as good as OEM mechanical. As I said:
Would much prefer the stock fan over electrical any day. No problems, no worries, never overheated, never used the rotating mass of a clutch fan as an excuse to failing, and it has never shorted out of me or just randomly stopped working. Alot of people feel the same way. I mean you can use them, go for it, not trying to start a flame war on this thread, just saying electrical fans will one day come back to bite you in the ass. It's like a law of physics. |
