I am located in the greater Los Angeles area. I really want to get this already and install it. I am willing to drive a pretty darn reasonable distance for the right one =)

I'm not sure about just the 5speed tranny. If you are lucky(and living in california there are alot more late model 240s than in the midwest), you might find one in a junkyard.
If you want a nice engine with a 5speed tranny with it, i know there are some for sale here: http://classifieds.se-r.net/forsale/default.asp good luck and let me know if you find one and how much it cost to have either the tranny or the engine or both installed. u need alot to get this done, and be wary of bad parts, u need all the parts associated w/ a tranny and all the pedals and housing etc, and u need a 5 speed driveshaft i believe the length is different, dont quote me on that.
