I am located in the greater Los Angeles area. I really want to get this already and install it. I am willing to drive a pretty darn reasonable distance for the right one =)

If anyone might have one for sell, im your man...

I'm not sure about just the 5speed tranny. If you are lucky(and living in california there are alot more late model 240s than in the midwest), you might find one in a junkyard.
If you want a nice engine with a 5speed tranny with it, i know there are some for sale here:

good luck and let me know if you find one and how much it cost to have either the tranny or the engine or both installed.

u need alot to get this done, and be wary of bad parts,  u need all the parts associated w/ a tranny and all the pedals and housing etc, and u need a 5 speed driveshaft i believe the length is different, dont quote me on that.
