I was just wondering if anyones heard about any companies developing new parts for the ka24E or DE, like a new intake manifold, fuel rail, headers, etc. It seems like we've been slightly shafted in this area...

3rd generation HotShot headers are being manufactured (now or soon). I talked to them recently and they'll let me know. It's now a 1-piece design & installation problems should be minimal now.
AEM just entered with their intake system. Kiwi developed a tubular turbo exhaust manifold B&M came out w/ the best short shifter the 240 has ever seen. |

Greddy has also developed a turbo kit for the KA. It was presented at a car show. No information whether it will be marketed/produced...

I'm just a lazy travel agent and an energetic car freak. It works just fine. HotShot makes headers for S13s now. It's GReddy who decided to only produce them for 14s. Those suckers. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Stillen has some parts for us. West has lots of links on zilvia.net, I'm sure there are plenty of resources.
Yesterday I placed an order on a short-shifter for my boyfriend's '96 240 (a b&m one) so I'll let you guys know how it is when we install it. It should be pretty dope as opposed to OBX. |

If that's directed towards the HS header stuff, I know HS has a header out for the S13 and S14 now. I was adding that I believe the 3rd gen. header that you mentioned will supposedly have a cat incorporated into the header.
Something that some of y'all already know about...unstable-hybrids is supposed to be working on a supercharger for the KA24E with plans for one for the KA24DE. |
