No sleep last night, I was on post.
I'll catch a nap at some point today, and be back on schedule for tomorrow.

on weekdays i never get more than 5 hours of sleep.... i used to sleep 10-12 hours straight on weekends but that fucks your sleep rythm up good. so i try and keep it on a constant 6-7 hours on the weekends.
the worse thing is, whenever i sleep longer than 8 hours or so i feel more tired than when i went to bed. i already got a new mattress but that didn't really help. and then theres the back pains and the morning breaths...ugh... i actually hate sleeping. |

I have insomnia.
Developed it when I was in high school. I take alot of naps but im just zoning out. But when I do sleep I usually pass out for a day or so. I sort of like it because I get ALOT done. but I think its getting bad for my health. |

i usually get 4-5 hrs of sleep on weekdays when i work, and on the weekends probablly around 8-9, sometimes less when my son wakes up early. i LOVE to sleep but i hate the feeling i wasted my day on sleeping. that and I usually cant sleep until 12-1am or later.

^ haha i get pretty good sleep on floors.. when I first do it, its uncomfortable, but after i slept on the floor for a few nights, i find it comfortable, sometimes even with no pillow.. I get pretty good rest on floors since forces your body straight, esp your back. Team it up with a room air purifier and im set =D .
I kinda fucked myself up a few years back when we thought it would be a good idea to swap out my full size bed for a fold out couch since i had a small room and it would save me space.. id be too lazy to pull it out sometimes and would just sleep on the couch.. Sleeping on the floor really helps my back.

Seriously, get good amounts of sleep. Getting proper rest is one of the best things you can do for your body. I remember when I arrived at the Reception Battalion for BCT the first three days I got maybe 5 hours of sleep. I remember sleeping standing up. Damn micro sleep. If there's one thing the military will do to ya, it's to appreciate sleep, and develop the ability to somehow function without it. That having been said, my circadian rhythm is all jacked up. Whenever I have more than a day or two off, I find myself slipping into this 1-3 p.m. until 4-7 a.m. schedule. |

hahahahahah!!!!!!
I used to have insomnia but now I sleep for 3-4 hours a night. I'm up at 4:30 most mornings to go to work. Then I go and work at my shop 'til 9 or 10 at night then I go home to do laundry or whatever til 12 or 1 am. Weekends get even worse 'cuz of track events. Operating on 30 min. to 2 hours sleep on average per weekend day is pretty normal for me. Weekend before last I had a total of 22 minutes sleep in the two days prior to driving the GripDay Time Attack at Streets of Willow! Still ended up putting down a decent time. 1:35:38 with an N/A s13 on street tires (don't try this at home kids). Sounds like most of you get plenty of sleep to me. |

it's gonna be a long night xD |

I find it impossible to fall asleep before 3-5am unless ive pulled an all nighter. I usually get up for work at 10am, get there at 12p, then work to 11pm, sometimes 8-9 hours straight with only an hourly cig break. I usually get 5-6 hours max of sleep before work because I simply do not feel like sleeping until them.
Then on my days off ill clear 10-12 hours easy, wake up, and still want to sleep more, but I can't, because like many others I'll feel like a lazy ass. Snowboarding days are the worst for me. We usually leave for Big Bear around 5am, which means zero sleep for me. Usually the anticipation and normal sleep time (4-5am) leave me sleepless for a whole day of snowboarding, which I usually handle pretty well. After days like that I'm out at 9-10p and I can easily sleep 12+ hours. I love sleep though. I could easily sleep 20 hours if I had nothing better to do. I just can't fall asleep sooner. I love the night.

oh i know, i cant fall asleep worth a shit. but when i do man, you better not wake me up. i love my sleep. but i cant seem to drag my self to bed before midnight unless im dead tired from work and usually dont fall asleep till 1. but on saturday nights/sunday mornings i go to sleep between 1-3, sometimes 4 and i wont wake up until 1-3pm. so i usually get 12+ hours of sleep on sundays and ~ 5-7 during the week.

I normally get about 4-5 hours of sleep, go to bed at like 2-3am wake up at 7am.
I see that it kinda builds up over time, like i can do it for a week or two but then the following week i end up falling asleep on the couch after work. Like today,i fell asleep at 6:30pm and I woke up at 2am and now I cant sleep. I have work in a few hours, I donno if im gonna try to sleep or just stay up.
