I think it's not question that the GT-R will perform competitively, the question is how well will it stand up to other supercars.

That's the first thing that came to my mind. I can't wait to see the a S chassis with that engine. That's going to tear sub frames to shit. Awesome.

nissan has set up this car in hopes of cutting out the aftermarket. or at least control the aftermarket. of course jun is not going to like that. remember the last version of skylines that nissan did. it involved previous modelcars with little mileage and little modifications to even be eligible for the upgrade that cost another 40000 if i recall corectly. it not new, look at all the dealer options now with aftermarket front grills, wheels, and accessories all being sold in house rather than down the street at the shops. now as far as repairing that damage i guarantee it costs more than 10k hell thats probably parts no labor no paint. if there are even any laying around. underbody panels that you dont see. electronics that you dont even know about.possible driveshaft damage (thats x2) hell i can see this car being totalled and if only 1200 are brought over the first year they will be rare as shit really soon with the likes of nick hogan getting them

^For real, big deal. Some dumbass with good credit just wadded a new GTR, like Nissan doesn't have parts galore for these??? Now if a hakosuka Skyline got totaled that would be truly sad.
