From what to what ? I would like the final drive from a Y34(02 q45) or 02-04 pathfinder but would either of them fit in a j30 housing with a s13 cover ?

There is a rare 2wd pathfinder r200 diff that had a bigger ring and pinion than any other r200 diff and has a 3.13 ratio. This won't work unless you have the specific r200 housing. I think the next lowest ratio is like 3.59 or something near this and should work ok. If you want the 3.13 ratio you meed the housing too. Mine has 1x5 hubs on it and I'm not sure what axle would for it for s13 as I did a 5lug swap at the same time Any other r200 innards will swap but you need to search for more information because it's not that hard to find tbh. If you move to an R230 out of a 350Z/G35/370Z/QX56/Armada you can get anywhere from 3.54 to 2.93. The subframe needs to be modified, specifically where the front diff mounts. That area needs to be raised an inch or so. You then shorten the output shafts as much as you can and run 350Z axles. 350Z axles fit in S13 hubs.
