Help: Z32 wont turn all the way to the right

My z turns 360 degrees to the right and about 585 degrees to the left. What would cause that. Gearbox? If so how would I access it and what tools would I need? Kind of a moon with working on cars. I'm 17 and have limited resources, but I want to learn.

Your caster could be really off, or steering rack could have took a crap on you. Not sure, good luck with that.

take it to an alignment shop. the tie rods are probably unequal length in adjustment. they would have to center the rack by making sure steering wheel turns the same amount left to right and right to left. then adjust the toe. they would probably have to remove the steering wheel to get it close to center, then adjust the toe again.

Does it drive straight if you let go the steering wheel? Whe you start turning do you feel a delay? Does it turn at all or a bit more after that point? Fluids? Have you gone under the car to make sure there is nothing jammed?

Sounds like your steering rack is not centered. Had that problem on my wife's maxima after they replaced the steering rack.
