What's a good budget seat you would recommend for me then? i'm mainly looking to get a matching pair and my budget is around $400 maybe more. I'm very interested in the budget seats in the group buy section by sonicmotors. Are those any good?

If you have a TINY budget, playing cars probably isn't the best idea....

You could just get a used seat.
I got my used Recaro for around $350. I prefer a used name brand seat over a knockoff. The materials and build are usually better. I have some used Sparco Evos for close to your budget, if you're interested. |

Why do you go there? Well the best thing you can do on a budget is to check the zilvia marketplace everyday. You can usually find really good deals on parts just make sure you dont low ball. Second would be to have fellow S-chassis friends, they can sometimes give you deals on parts as well.

Meh it's not THAT expensive messing with cars.
I had a lot of fun on a low budget buying a stock crx si & autoxing it every other month. just depends on your goals and budget. |

Oh man dailying a bucket seat can be a pain, I never did it but all of my friends do. Everytime I enter their drivers seat I'm scared I will rip the side of the bucket so I try so hard to not swipe the sides of the bucket seats as I get in.
Personally I would do it just because it makes me feel good sitting in a bucket seat anytime. Yeah there are a lot of low profile stock type bucket seats that hold you well. The recaros that come in the evos are pretty good for daily driving and still look good. |

getting aftermarket bucket seats to daily drive you car imo is like overdoing it. There is nothing wrong with the seats it comes with. I have a 1989 240sx driver seat in my car. I actually like it way better than a bride brix seat (replica) which I removed (since it came with my car.)

^^ This Also, just be careful getting in and out of them. Generally, wear appears on side bolsters first, so try to be cognizant of this and avoid it. I wore a Recaro SPG to shit back by treating it like any other OEM seat, which you can't really do if you want to keep it looking nice. |

Daily a Recaro Pole Position right now, it's not bad. On that note, the 997 Turbo seats are the most uncomfortable seats I've ever suffered through.

I daily'd my Sparco seat... not comfortable... bad ass when drifting...
but when i wanted to lean back, or recline for some bombies...which was about 75% of the time in the daily, it sucked... love the stock 13 BUCKET seats lol |

I had a corbeau bucket that I dd for about 3 years till the bracket broke. Picked up a Sparco pro 2000 with Bride low max rails for $450 for everything. I also have a s14 passenger seat both seats with 4 point harnesses. Sparco is amazingly comfortable. Even on a daily 2 hr commute to and from Oxnard to Torrance.

I would do 8 hour drives to and from San Diego in my Bride Artis III and I never had any problems with being comfortable.
I did however have problems with my lower back in STOCK S13 seats after driving for more than 20 minutes.
