my wife's coupe has the isis mbse and I got the dual tip, so i just swapped her mid pipe with mine, and now its at a decent enough level that cops don't really look twice when i'm putzing around town.

na ka w/ isis dual tips = rice btw, it sounds terrible w/o a resonator and/or muffler

the rattling btw is probably the cross mounts on the tips rattling, the weld holding the two mounts to each other broke on mine and they rattle against each other, gotta get that globbed back tight

^ I wish they sold it that way. I love the look, but I'm sick of having an obnoxiously loud car.

had one for my s13 a while back it was super obnoxious loud on a ka

never got a ticket for it but my neighbors pretty much hated me over it and called the cops a bunch

i have a dart izumi coming my way some time hopefully soon but i'm not so sure i even want it anymore... i'll have to see how loud it is with the silencers in

might go with a blitz nurspec instead

so a hotshot header on a N/A KA w/ isis 4'' dual is a no go?

I wouldn't do it. It will be deafeningly (see also- holy shit) loud. I have this exhaust on my SR20'd S14, and its still rowdy enough to incite neighbor hatred. So putting this on a N/A car...

Also, as far as I know, NA motors shouldn't run 3" piping unless they're superbuilt. Something about maintaining correct back pressure.

yeah, i'll go a different route then.

i think you're wrong about the 3'' on NA KA, though.
i've read thats its been proven and stated numerous times that stock NA KA preforms better on 3''
and that the back pressure malarkey people worry about is BS.

idk, i really dont know shit about cars, don't listen to me unless someone can confirm this for the 10,000th time

I have the 4" tips with my LS1. I haven't gotten it running yet but I'm sure its going to be the loudest thing I've ever heard. It looks great though

That would be really loud.
Personally i've had the ISIS MBSE on an NA ka, and its literally the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a NA motor. i almost couldn't believe it at first. NO rasp at all, smooth sounding and fairly quiet.

I have to dig around.

I have the Dual 4" for the s14.

I have run it on KA, SR and on my LSX car...

Heres a short vid of it on the SR.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eT8xmtw7IU

I dont seem to have any of it on the V8. I only had it on for a few days as it was too loud for me to daily on. Sound was amazing though. Ill try to take a video once i fix my trans.

This is all I can find off hand.

This is what I did once I realized my n1 was shot.

It helped with noise on the sr to make it driveable on the street. Hopefully it will be nice on the v8.

I didn't mean on KA, I think I was talking to someone who had it on an LS or something.

Anyways, got mine in the mail today. Will post up videos after installed.

Also, the welds and everything on it are great, nothing looks sketchy at all. Definitely pleased with my purchase.

I used to have the 3" dual

Good product for the price. Nice clean welds and no problems whatsoever

And it looks neat

For the record it sounds bad on a KA. Like ricer bad.

Told you dude, trying to relay the paint you want via telephone and 600 miles doesn't work.

Also, just because I'm an ass, it's not flake. It's called Prizma Teak. And it's microscopic pieces of glass acting as prisms.

I want some duals for my car, but the Isis is too loud, and the Apexi hangs wayyyy too low. Anyone know where to source a Dart Izumi from?

HAHA those are my autozone bagdes...

But yes, it is LS powered. With an actual LS1. Not a stupid truck V8 that people get and call it an LS

Look up anywhere and you will find a GM Performance LS327 is a TRUCK motor from GM with a car cam. Most refer to them as a LSX. Dont be that guy.

GM Performance Parts LS327 Deluxe Crate Engine - JEGS

I should have a video of my 5.3l with the isis on it tonight or tomorrow. Trans should be back together and in tonight.

Cool.

I just don't like when people say that their 5.3 iron block truck motor is an LS motor, that's what I was saying. So don't get butt hurt.

Most people with 5.3's don't have that LS327 motor anyway.

Im running the 3in pipes with a turbo ka no cat and 3in downpipe. Very loud but thats no big deal around my town. Only thing I dont like about the exhaust is the fitment. Its terrible. The hangers are soo far off its retarded. And once I was able to get it in the hangers it hangs too low for my taste. It drags very regularly. And its quite annoying, but my car is very low as well.

3". Mine sits a little off since its an s13 exhaust and I have an s14 rear subframe. Couple of the hangers have nowhere to connect to.
